Formed in 2010, we work on funded and commissioned projects to engage a wide range of groups including schools, older people, intergenerational participants, and professional clients in creative and heritage activities, encouraging engagement and outreach, whilst exploring memories and archive material;
Through this we utilise life stories to create accessible projects, exhibitions and art with diverse outcomes including events, books, reminiscence, performance, textiles, oral history and mosaic to transform public and private spaces. We also offer training, consultancy, partnership working, and studio space.
Based in Brighton, Strike a Light aims to work with and for the wider community in Sussex.
